Our learning and development programmes for performance coaches

Our talent and performance programmes are designed to help partners develop performance foundation coaches, whether that's helping them to transition into the high-performance coaching arena or giving those who are already there the opporunity to share ideas and network. 

Through our programmes we are committed to creating a more diverse community of talent coaches.

Disabled and BAME Talent Coach Connectivity Events

These sessions are focused on coach development and support, and will provide coaches with the opportunity to network and share coaching stories. The events are for coaches working regularly within the talent pathway - first selective environment through to national age group squads.

Into High Performance

The Into High Performance programme aims to support coaches with the potential to transition into high performance coaching.

In this podcast, we spoke to Stephen Daley. As of January 2019, he is England's most capped futsal player and longest-serving captain, earning himself 134 caps across nine European Championships and seven World Cups.

The football hall of famer is in a period of transition - still playing, coaching and working full time - and so was put forward for UK Coaching's Into High Performance programme, which is supporting coaches with the potential to transition and thrive in the high-performance coaching environment.

Performance Foundation Coach Support

Run in partnership with UK Sport, this programme is designed specifically to develop coaches working with talented athletes who have the potential to win medals.

Women Into High Performance

The Women into High Performance programme aims to support female coaches with the potential to transition into high performance coaching.
