Duty to Care: Supporting the People You Coach and Yourself, 12-1pm (GMT) Friday 4 September 2020

The recent months of isolation and disruption have placed considerable strain on people’s physical and mental well-being. Now more than ever, we need to make sure that we look after the people we coach, regardless of where they are on their sport and physical activity journey. Many coaches have returned or are keen to return to coaching, but they want the reassurance that they can do this safely and confidently. Presented by UK Coaching’s Heather Douglas, this session will explore UK Coaching’s Duty to Care toolkit, developed to help coaches support the people they coach – and look after themselves along the way. It will focus particularly on the two pillars of Safeguarding and Mental Well-being. Secure your place.

What Do Coaches Think?

AMAZING! Loving Time2Learn… More, more, more, please!

Much more interactive than any other webinar that I have attended!

Enjoyable and challenged my thinking, really liked the interactive elements.

Joining in the Time2Learn webinar was such a positive experience. The session was well-run, well-timed, informative, informal and chatty. I was made to feel welcome and my comments were valued. I enjoyed the banter with other coaches through the chat box and it was great to participate with coaches from a huge range of other disciplines. Thank-you SO much. Can’t wait for the next one!

Love it! We learnt so much from other coaches in other sports.

Really enjoyed this – thank-you – informative, interactive, which has benefits and I really liked the chat box. Thanks UK Coaching!

Good to hear what other coaches are doing and share ideas. Thanks!
