Simon Allanson - Head Coach of British Para-Nordic Skiing

In this podcast, Simon talks about the joy of coaching in the para-sport world and whether there is a connection between athletes and coaches who have served in the armed forces

Simon, who competed internationally for eight years, took on a coaching role with the British para-Nordic team just 18 months ago, having already coached Olympic athletes beforehand. A current member of the armed forces, he discusses what it is like to transition from coaching biathlon to para-Nordic skiing, including the factors involved when working with Paralympic athletes.
