Sheila Swan - Head Coach of British Wheelchair Curling

Sheila Swan is head coach of the British wheelchair curling team, who competed at the Pyeongchang 2018 Winter Paralympic Games

A former curling athlete herself, she won a world title in 2002 with the Scottish women’s curling team. In the podcast, Sheila discussed with us a little about her coaching background, why Mr T from the ‘A Team’ tweeted his support for curling and the types of positive behaviour change she’s seen in her athletes because of the social interactions coaching facilitates.

NB In the podcast Sheila mentions Bob (Robert) McPherson and Hugh Nibloe. They were part of the British Paralympic curling team selected for Peyongchang.
